Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how iTemSpot ("the App") handles your information.

Information We Collect

iTemSpot is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.

Data Stored Locally

• Item names, notes, tags, and photos you create
• Location names and hierarchies
• Folder organization and assignments
• AR world map data (device-specific, never synced)
• Vault credentials (stored in iOS Keychain, device-only)
• App preferences (appearance, font size, language)

iCloud Sync

If you have iCloud enabled, your items, locations, and folders sync across your devices using Apple's CloudKit service. This data is stored in your private iCloud database and is accessible only to you. AR world map data and vault credentials are never synced and remain on the device where they were created.

What We Don't Collect

• No analytics or tracking
• No third-party data sharing
• No advertising identifiers
• No personal information transmitted to external servers

Permissions

The App requests permissions only when needed: camera for AR scanning, QR codes, and photos; photo library for saving QR codes and importing photos; microphone and speech recognition for voice search; Face ID/Touch ID for vault authentication. All permissions can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.

Children's Privacy

iTemSpot does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The App does not require account creation or collect personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
